Here we have a beautiful and Large Matching Pair of top quality solid sterling silver, Bulbous Gallery ( Pot belly ) Champagne / Wine bottle coasters.

Very elegant with a beautiful styled wide gadroon / pie crust rim.

Very rare to find a matching pair of these top quality coasters by HARRODS Ltd especially in such good condition, they are fully matching in Style, maker, assay & year. 

Beautifully made with a bulbous ( Pot belly ) gallery sides with fluted pie crust rim in very heavy gauge solid sterling Silver, complemented with fabulous turned polished wood base with hallmarked centre disks.

NB : These coasters are top quality, very stylish and in Excellent condition. 

They do have several minor dings to the upper rim insert, where the wine bottle bottom edge, dings the insert edge and causes a little ding, both coasters have a few , but very minor and in reality nothing that detracts from the beauty of these coasters.

Both coasters Stamped with HARRODS on the lower part of the gallery.

RWB Makers mark stamp stands for Richard Woodman Burbridge, who was the Managing Director & Chairman of Harrods at the time of Manufacturing.

Hallmarks are deep and clear, easily readable. ( please see photos )

Condition 

Excellent vintage condition, No nasty dents or nasty scratches, both coasters do have some tiny dings on the upper rim bottle insert area, caused by a bottles edge dinging the curved insert edge of the coaster, nothing serious but there,

 The gallery sides are in very good conditions, no twists or buckles. Hallmarks are clear and easily readable.

Beautiful turned & polished wood base, complimented by hallmarked Sterling silver centre disks, all fabulous condition free from No dents or scratches.

  Green Baize / Felt is in excellent condition.

Sterling silver is of a very heavy gauge and has a wonderful deep shine, polished and in excellent order.

May show some signs of wear commensurate with age and use, however they would be very minor and light. ( please read N:B )

Very difficult shape to photograph being Bulbous without any reflections or dark areas, however these coasters don’t have dark areas or dull finishes as they are fully polished and very bright,
