The item was opened only for taking photos, but it is brand new and unused. However, the bag containing the player is sealed and cannot be opened without tearing it, so the photos of the player were taken through the bag. Batteries for the remote control were originally included, but they have been removed because batteries cannot be shipped internationally as-is. Thank you for your understanding.
