Provenance: The handwritten name at the top of the first page refers to Charles Olden (often spelled or C. Oldden), the subscriber of the newspaper. Olden was a prominent high-end Philadelphia merchant and tailor active in the late 18th century. The Olden/Oldden family was a well-known Quaker family with deep roots extending into Princeton, New Jersey.
Condition: Good to Very Good for 235 years. Warm age toning throughout. Light scattered foxing. Minor edge chipping. Original mailing folds as issued. Text fully legible. Better than typical condition for this era.
