Beautiful antique Victorian silver-plated four-bottle cruet / condiment set with cut-glass bottles, attributed to John Grinsell.

The decorative silver-plated stand features an elegant arched carrying handle, pierced basket-style sides, beaded edging, ornate feet and a blank shield-shaped cartouche to the front.

The set includes four cut-glass condiment vessels, including three bottles with faceted glass stoppers and a lidded mustard/condiment pot with spoon. The glass has attractive cut decoration throughout.

All of the glass bottles are in good antique condition with no chips or cracks. The silver-plated stand shows some age-related wear and tarnishing consistent with its age, which adds to its original antique character.

A very attractive and complete period cruet set, ideal for collectors of Victorian tableware, antique silver plate, cut glass or John Grinsell pieces. It would also make a lovely decorative table centrepiece.

Please study the photographs carefully as they form an important part of the description and show the overall condition of the set.
