1 — BUY THE SERVICE
Purchase this repair service for your existing original infotainment unit. If you're unsure about compatibility, message me before purchase and I will be happy to check.
2 — PACKAGE & SEND YOUR RADIO
Use a strong cardboard box with plenty of bubble wrap or protective foam. If you can shake the box and feel or hear the unit moving, please add more packaging. Include your name, eBay username/order details, vehicle registration and contact number inside the box. Please use Royal Mail Tracked 24 or Tracked 48. Please do not use Special Delivery.
3 — REPAIR, UPDATE & TEST
I professionally refurbish the screen, inspect the unit, check applicable software/maps and then carry out comprehensive functional testing.
4 — VIDEO CONFIRMATION & RETURN
After repair, I record a detailed video showing your actual unit operating correctly before it is securely packaged and returned to you ready to refit.
HOW TO FIND YOUR PART NUMBER
You can normally identify your unit without removing it from the vehicle.
1. Switch the infotainment system on.
2. Press and hold the SETUP button.
3. Keep holding until the additional/service menu appears.
4. Select Version Information.
5. Scroll down and locate the Device Part Number / Part Number.
Send the part number through eBay messages and I can confirm suitability. If you cannot find it, send your vehicle registration or VIN and I will do my best to identify the fitted system.
COMMON TOUCHSCREEN FAULTS
• Completely unresponsive touchscreen
• Only part of the display responds
• Dead areas around the edges or centre
• Incorrect selections / inaccurate touch
• Repeated presses needed before the screen reacts
• Intermittent touch operation
• Display works normally but touch control has failed
IMPORTANT: This listing is for touchscreen-related faults. The unit should power up and remain switched on normally. If it is rebooting, stuck on a manufacturer logo, has a white/black screen, no power, liquid damage or another electronic fault, please message me before purchasing. I may still be able to help, but further diagnosis may be required.

Repairing your existing unit means you retain the radio originally fitted to your vehicle. This avoids buying an unknown used unit and can avoid the coding, PIN or Component Protection complications that may arise when fitting an unrelated replacement.
SOFTWARE & FREE MAP UPDATES
While your radio is here I will check the installed software and, where applicable and supported, update it as part of the service. Compatible navigation units can also receive the latest available WK36 2026/2027 navigation map data FREE OF CHARGE. Compatibility varies by unit, so software and map updates cannot be guaranteed for every model.
