Rare 1957 Vintage Bulova Men's Watch – Black Waffle Dial – US Zone Germany Case
​Up for sale is a rare vintage 1957 (L7 date code) Bulova men's manual-wind wristwatch. This particular model features the highly desirable combination of a black textured waffle dial and an interior case back stamped "RP US ZONE GERMANY" (made during the post-WWII Allied occupation era). Powered by a Swiss 17-jewel Bulova 11ACC movement.
​Equipped with its original/period-correct Flex-Let Stainless Steel stretch expansion band. Overall physical condition is very clean for its age, making this an ideal restoration project.
​Condition & Service Notes:
​Movement / Crown: The winding crown/knob is currently stuck and will not turn or wind. However, when moved, the movement ticks and runs smoothly for a brief period before stopping, confirming the mechanical parts inside are intact but in need of servicing/unsticking. Sold as-is for parts or repair.
​Band: Includes the original stainless steel Flex-Let band. One end has unhooked/detached from the lug and simply needs to be reattached with a spring bar/pin.
​Cosmetics: Case, crystal, and dial show light vintage wear and age-appropriate patina. Please review all photos for exact condition.
