Vintage Kershaw Model 1056 Folding Field III lockback knife, made in Japan.
The 1056 is a compact version of the well-known Kershaw 1050 Folding Field knife. It features a black synthetic handle with finger grooves and solid brass bolsters.

The blade retains its factory edge. There are faint surface scratches on the blade that become visible under certain lighting angles.
The brass bolsters and butt show age-related tarnish, light scratches, and a few small dents. The synthetic handle also has minor surface wear.
Please note that there is a small crack on the left handle scale near the lock-spring area, as clearly shown in the final two photos.
