Vintage Gerber Paul Knife Model 2P, produced in 1979 as a limited-edition knife commemorating the 40th anniversary of Gerber Legendary Blades.

Only 2,500 examples were produced. This knife is individually numbered 1158/2500.

The knife features Paul W. Poehlmann’s distinctive axial locking mechanism and an all-metal construction. One side of the handle carries the Pete Gerber signature design with “40th Year 1939–1979,” while the opposite side features the Paul W. Poehlmann signature and “First Year 1979.”

The knife is unused and remains in near-mint condition. The blade and metal handle are exceptionally clean, with no noticeable scratches.

The matching serial number 1158 appears on the knife, presentation case, and outer sleeve. The original velvet-lined Gerber presentation case and numbered outer cardboard sleeve are included.

The outer sleeve has some yellowing, stains, edge wear, and minor corner damage from age and storage. Please examine all photographs carefully for the exact condition.
