The Kingdom Laserdisc box set. This masterful epic was written and directed by Lars Von Trier. Over 5 hours in length, this was originally a TV series called Rige from Denmark. This is Season 1 - easily the finest one. Later seasons 2 & 3 became more comedic. This original season is an absolutely terrifying ghost story. It was billed as The Shining meets Twin Peaks. Or "ER on acid".
