A beautiful, highly structural hand-thrown studio art pottery presentation vase by the late Oklahoma artist and Professor Emeritus, LeRoy Schultz (Southwestern Oklahoma State University).

This robust, heavy-walled stoneware piece beautifully showcases the rustic, Earth-toned aesthetics of the 1970s modernist movement. It features a rich rust-brown glaze over dense clay, accented by striking, deeply incised sgraffito geometric patterns highlighted in a dark metallic overglaze. The bottom features a clear, hand-incised "Schultz" signature and distinct throwing rings.
