The top features Sitka spruce with VINTAGE TONE SYSTEM® (VTS) and natural adhesive (natural protein glue). The exterior boasts European flame maple binding (body, fingerboard, headplate), stylish gold frets, gold open-gear tuners, a dazzling abalone torch logo edged in pearl on the headstock, and similarly, snowflake inlays in pearl and abalone on the fingerboard.

Abalone inlays extend to the body sides and back, a characteristic of the D-45, making this the most luxurious specification in the series. Liquidmetal® bridge pins with abalone dots and a carbon fiber bridge plate ensure that string vibrations are not compromised, allowing the entire instrument to resonate.

Furthermore, the asymmetrical neck shape, profiled from vintage Martin guitars, fits comfortably in the hand. Fret wear: Almost none Truss rod adjustment range: Plenty (Although the effective range of the truss rod is narrower than usual due to the 4mm size, it functions without problems.)
