Two Robert Chee Prints with Double Mattes
This delightful MCM diptych has two serigraphs by Navajo artist Robert Chee featuring two adorable fawns exploring their world. The one on the left is encountering a nest of birds & the one on the right has discovered a cloud of butterflies. Each is signed R Chee in the print & aren't numbered. These were printed on a neutral taupe colored paper in 5 muted colors. They have been permanently attached to the matte boards in this double matted configuration. 19.5" L x The windows/openings in the matte measure approx 7" H x 5.25" W. The outer perimeter of the whole measures approx 12.75" H x 19.5" L. Cute MCM prints by this collectible native American artist!
Very Good Condition! The prints are in clean, excellent condition apart from being permanently attached to this set up, as found. I am unaware of how it is put together. The outer matte has some issues and could easily be covered up with a new double windowed matte the same size, but I leave it to the new owner.
