Santa Domingo Treasure Necklace 

This fun Santo Domingo (Kewa) necklace has 4 strands made with a variety of animal fetishes & beads in a colorful jumble of shapes & sizes. The fetishes were carved of block turquoise & include birds, fish, buffalo & frogs mingling with simple mother of pearl birds. These are strung alongside shell, coral, small unidentified stones & long slices of block gaspeite on melon shell heishi in a pale warm beige color. The predominant colors include turquoise, chartreuse, pink, blue & red. The ends of the strands terminate in silver beads finished off with a silvertone hook & eye fastener. This measures 19" L & weighs approx 113.7g. It would be a fun accessory to accent a spring or summer look. This would be great to wear on vacation or to give you that vacation feeling on the weekend.
