Pueblo Style Blue Stone Slab Earrings

Slab earrings are a basic style made by many native American Pueblo tribes, notably the Santo Domingo (Kewa). These were purchased from a native American artist by the original owner. The earrings feature basic slices of unknown blue stone, likely sodalite that was dyed to look more like lapis lazuli, on 925 french hooks for pierced ears. The stones are deep blue with some cloudy light greyish blue areas & specks of silvery pyrite inclusions, like we would expect to see in the genuine rock. These have an oblong shape, in a long drop, that dangles off the end of a sterling silver french hook. They hang with the thin edge facing forward. These measure approx 2.25" L. The charms measure approx 1.5" L x 11/16" W x 1/8" W. Together, they weigh 11.16g. These would look fantastic on someone with blue eyes.
