I have no idea if this works because I don't know what it's supposed to do. I'll put some batteries in it if you tell me what I should be looking/listening for. It does a great job of looking retro.

The battery contacts are perfect and all wiring looks good. Some surface scratches, shown in photos.

It sat in a box for the last 35 years; I don't know what it was up to before 1991.
