Summey Dairy Farm Gastonia N.C. Advertising Ink Blotter Spanking! Calendar 1941

This is a vintage ink blotter that advertises "Summey Dairy Farm, Gastonia, N.C". The blotter is also a calendar for 1941 and features an ODD humorous illustration that is titled, "Spank your problems of health and wealth with natural milk...". There is a picture of angry man with a stick and a kid that just got spanked!! There is a photo of a peaceful Jersey cow at the bottom and caption reads, " Member of American Jersey Cattle Club, Gastonia, N.C.". There is other information that reads, " Farm Fresh Natural Milk and Cream Produced From Our Own Registered Jersey Herd, Only Jersey Cows Give Jersey Milk". This is a pre-owned original vintage item with everyday handle wear. Blotters were used to absorb ink from fountain pens on the desk top. The back side has some ink blots...see photos.
