Decorative solid wood storage box/chest, hand-painted, and covered on all sides with intricately hand-carved elephants amidst stylized flora and trees.
Is in New condition but has been given an exciting unique make-over in Annie Sloan paint and wax finish for lasting quality for years to come.
The dominant colour is a light lime green, sage hue, but is heavily layered with underlying tones of reddish-pink and graphite black peaking through, giving it an aged, vintage look and perfect for adding a touch of rustic charm to any room in the home.
Originally made in Thailand, the chest inside and out is in new, perfect, unused condition. Although highly textured in carvings, the waxed finish makes the box wood smooth and very pleasant to the touch.
Solid wood chest is rectangular with a strong lid hinged at the top.
The inside of the chest is painted black and waxed
