Offering this vintage ERB copy of "The Master Mind of Mars" (Book 6 of the Barsoom series) by Edgar Rice Burroughs. Tarzana, CA: Edgar Rice Burroughs, Inc., [1948 reprint published directly by ERB]. The copyright page shows 1928 but ERB printed in 1948, there is no date on the title page; the cover boards, dust jacket, and publisher credits point to this specific copy being a 1948 reprint. Grey/tweed cloth hardcover with brown stamped letters, original dust jacket, pp. 312, and includes a frontispiece illustration by J. Allen St. John.

Overall condition is Good (book Very Good/jacket Poor): The binding is secure, cover boards have mild wear and bumping to spine ends; top corners are sharp, bottom corners are bumped, with corresponding bumping to bottom edge of text block. The jacket heavily damaged. It is age-toned and missing a chunk of the spine from the bottom to nearly halfway up, and there is a piece missing from the top affecting these words "The Master." The front inside flap is missing. DJ also has edge tears and small losses at corners, and the underside has foxing and repaired (taped) tears. Now in protective mylar. Pages are mildly age toned, else clean, unmarked, and secure. A flawed but complete copy.
