The QY70 can be powered by batteries. The operation video shows the unit running on batteries.
The included Yamaha PA-3B AC adapter is designed for 100V AC input.
To use the included adapter outside Japan, a suitable voltage transformer that converts the local voltage to 100V is required. A plug adapter alone does not convert voltage.
