This is the memorable “Hello! Democrats” 4” litho pin that welcomed delegates and others to the ill-fated 1968 Democratic National Convention on behalf of Chicago Mayor Richard J. Daley.

This pin has a red spot on the surface on the edge of the hat illustration and a few minor surface scratches that are visible only in reflected light. On the back, there is evidence of the adhesive that once held an attached ribbon.
