Vintage Gunze Sangyo High-Tech Model 1 Ton Half-Track PaK 38 50mm Self-Propelled Gun model kit in 1/35 scale.
This is an early 1991 production kit—the box is specifically marked “The 1st lot, 2/1991,” making this a particularly nice example of the original February 1991 production run.
The kit depicts the German WWII 1-ton half-track converted to carry a 5cm PaK 38 anti-tank gun. The packaging describes this as the world’s first model kit of this particular 5cm anti-tank mechanized-gun configuration.
As part of Gunze Sangyo’s High-Tech Model series, the kit incorporates multimedia detailing, including turned/white-metal components and etched metal armor parts.
The kit remains factory sealed in its original shrink wrap.

Original shrink wrap remains substantially intact, with a slight tear/separation in the shrink wrap on one side.
There is a small dent on the bottom of the box, which is primarily visible as a crease on the box bottom and has little effect on the overall appearance of the package.
Otherwise, the box presents very well for a kit dating from 1991. Please examine all photographs for exact condition.
The February 1991 date is unusually well documented for this kit because it is printed directly on the original box, so I would definitely include both 1991 and “First Lot 2/1991” in the eBay listing.
