Please read the following explanation carefully before purchasing.

NEC PC Engine Super Grafx + 3 games (Aldynes, Battle Ace, and Granzort).  If you're looking at this, then I'm sure you know what your looking at, but in case you don't, this is the NEC Super Grafx, a Japan-only console based on NEC's PC Engine hardware, but with upgraded graphics capability (check the last screenshot, the original PC Engine would grind to a halt or at least flicker out on that stage 1 boss in Aldynes).  In addition to playing Super Grafx games, this console also play all PC Engine hucards.  A good thing, since there are only 5 Super Grafx games (not counting the dual compatible Darius Plus/Alpha).  This set comes with 3 of those games, so you're effectively getting 60% of all the entire library in one fell swoop here.

Upon testing, the console and controller work 100% without issue.  This includes the controller, power supply, and AV composite cable.  The console is mostly in good shape, but there is writing on the bottom of the console, and no cover for the expansion port in the back.  This set also includes a Ten no Koe 2 device which you can plug into that expansion port.  The Ten no Koe 2 is a device that allows you to save your game on hucards that have a save function.  At the time of testing, I did not test the save functionality of this device, so please think of the Ten no Koe 2 as a free bonus item.

This set comes with three Super Grafx games: 

Granzort, which is an action game and could be thought of as a sequel to Keith Courage/Majin Eiyuuden Wataru.

Battle Ace, an After Burner-style 3D shooter with some nice scaling.

Aldynes, an impressive 2D side scrolling shooter.  In my opinion, this is the best Super Grafx game, even comparing it to the PC Engine's impressive selection of shooters, I would still rank this one pretty high.  This is a great showcase for the system and remains a Super Grafx exclusive to this day.

The games do show signs of wear on the manuals and cardboard slipcases (inevitable after 35+ years), but the hucards themselves are mostly in nice shape.

This is a Japanese console.  It operates on US NTSC power without issue, but please note it will not play US Turbografx-16 hucards, only PC Engine and Super Grafx hucards.
