The product is a vintage cannery token from the Messick Check Distributor Co. in Easton, Maryland dating back to 1916. This token was used in the Talbot County area for trade purposes. This historical piece serves as a unique collectible item that sheds light on the past and the economy of the region during that time period.

This is in a used condition having been handled before. It still has a nice patina that makes me believe it is made if aluminum. It has minor surface scratches but the embossed lettering on the token are still clean and legible.
