ball mount. REESE starter kits also include either a pin and clip or a lock to keep the shank
of the ball mount securely connected to your vehicle's receiver hitch. Each REESE ball
mount is made from solid, all-welded steel and has a Metal Shield finish and is specifically
designed to work with 2 in. hitch receivers. The drop needed for each vehicle and trailer
combination varies, so be sure to pair your vehicle and trailer correctly to achieve a level
and safe towing setup. This REESE starter kit fits a 2 in. receiver hitch and has a 2 in. drop.
It has a maximum towing capacity of 2,000 lbs. and includes a 1-7/8 in. Trailer Ball and Pin
