This softcover book "Galesburg Illinois in Vintage Postcards" by Carley R. Robison was produced in 2000 as one of the "The Postcard History Series" of history books about cities.  Published by Arcadia Publishing in Chicago, Illinois, it has black and white photographs and/or postcard illustrations.

The book covers the history of Galesburg through its early years.  Important events, industry such as the railroad, buildings, and people are discussed and illustrated.  On page, 54 it even has a photo and information on Lott's Drug and Ice Cream Store - a location whose claim to fame today - with numerous followers on Facebook - is "Judy's Family Cafe" where "we have the best pancakes".

The book is about 9-1/4 inches tall and 6-1/2 inches wide and has 128 pages.

It is in very good condition - the binding is sturdy and it looks like it may not have even been read.  There are no marks or tears to the cover or pages.  It would be great for anyone interested in United States/Mid-America history or architecture - especially that of Galesburg Illinois.
