Offered is an early non-dial Bell System telephone. It is US Patent 1,508,424 titled "Telephone Desk Set" issued in 1924 and assigned to Western Electric Company.
I have never had the phone repaired and I don’t know if it works. It was designed to go along with a ringer box. I do have what I believe is the original bell box and am currently offering it in a separate auction.
The physical appearance of the phone is fairly good. There are no breaks or cracks. Areas of the finish have blemishes and rough spots.
