Vintage Original WWI 30th Division “Old Hickory” Medal – Greenville, SC 1919


Authentic World War I era 30th Infantry Division (“Old Hickory”) commemorative medal issued in Greenville, South Carolina following the end of the war. This piece was presented during the September 29–30, 1919 reunion honoring returning soldiers from Camp Sevier.


The medal features a detailed eagle top bar with “XXX” (30th Division) insignia and original red, white, and blue ribbon, with a suspended medallion engraved:


“Presented by the Mother City of the 30th Division – Greenville, S.C. – Sept. 29–30, 1919”


This is a genuine period piece tied directly to the historic return of the 30th Division, one of the most notable U.S. Army divisions of WWI.


Condition:

• Original and complete (top bar, ribbon, and medallion intact)

• Ribbon shows heavy wear, fraying, and discoloration due to age
