An exceptionally cool Eidos Napoli duster-style overcoat, made in Italy from 100% cotton in a timeless black, grey and white houndstooth pattern. Lightweight, relaxed and distinctly modern, this is a fantastic example of how traditional menswear can be reinterpreted into something much more contemporary and effortless.
The coat has a beautifully clean silhouette with a classic button front, generous collar and long duster-style proportions. The cut allows it to be worn comfortably over a suit, sports coat or jacket, while its lightweight cotton construction also makes it perfect simply thrown over a shirt, T-shirt or fine knit.
The houndstooth cloth is what really gives this piece its character. Black and white combine from a distance to create an almost grey appearance, while closer inspection reveals the classic pattern. I am a huge believer that every well-dressed man should own at least one houndstooth piece — it is one of those great menswear patterns that has existed for generations yet continually looks fresh when interpreted correctly.
