Classic Stanley No. 78 Duplex Rabbet Plane, one of Stanley’s most recognizable specialty woodworking planes. The No. 78 was designed for cutting rabbets and rebates along the edges of boards and other wooden components.

The adjustable design made the No. 78 a versatile addition to the traditional woodworking shop, allowing craftsmen to perform controlled rabbet work for joinery, fitting, and other carpentry applications.

Overall in fair condition with dings and heavy use. One corner on the rear is broken off. The sole is in pretty good shape. Decent user.
