The
first Army Land Rovers were painted a glossy olive-green which included
the base, nail-head & crimped axles and large metal wheels. Silver
trim was added to the front grille and bumper but on this version there
was no decal.
The Benbros Mighty Midgets No. 35 Army Land Rover
is a vintage diecast model introduced around 1957 as part of the "Mighty Midgets" range. It is a hard-top model based on a Series 1 Land Rover design.
Model Details

It used the same body and base castings as the No. 34 AA Road Service
Land Rover, but without the "AA Road Service" lettering on the sides.
The rear of the model featured an open area with a central body pillar
and a fixed tailgate section as part of the base casting.

All variations included silver trim on the front grille and bumper. The
base and large metal wheels were typically painted the same color as
the body in the earlier variations.
