The featured center medallion displays a beautifully rendered neoclassical scene depicting classical maidens with Cupid/cherub, signed "Kaufmann" in the lower right.
The rim boasts an unusually striking combination of bright canary yellow, rich maroon/burgundy filigree panels, cobalt blue medallions, and intricate gold scrollwork/gilding. The back bears the stamped blue underglaze Beehive (Bindenschild) mark above "AUSTRIA" alongside an impressed hallmark, as well as factory-molded holes equipped with a wire hanger for easy display.
