Antique hand-forged iron farrier tool believed to be a horseshoe puller / shoe-removing pincers, featuring an unusual pair of sculpted horse-head jaws. The opposing horse heads form a heart-like shape when the tool is closed.

Approximately 5.5” long and weighs 9.14 oz. Heavy forged construction with hand-worked horse faces, raised eyes, incised mane details and substantial aged patina.

Likely used by a farrier for gripping and working a horseshoe loose during removal. Particularly collectible because the tool itself is decorated with horse heads rather than having conventional plain jaws.

Unmarked as far as shown. Shows oxidation, surface rust, pitting and wear consistent with age and use. Left uncleaned with its existing patina.
