Exceptional vintage JOLLE sterling silver brooch, dating to approximately 1940s, with wonderful sculptural construction and dramatic jewel tone color.  The brooch is formed from dimensional, hand worked sterling silver elements with curled and overlapping edges, pierced/openwork details and a warm aged surface.  A vertical arrangement of emerald green faceted rhinestones runs through the center, terminating in a floral cluster of marquise and round stones.  Two clear rhinestone accents add additional sparkle.  The reverse is clearly hand stamped, Sterling Jolle.  The original gold wash appears to have mellowed with age, leaving a beautiful patina.  The aged patina gives this brooch considerable vintage character.
