This vintage mid-century Pal-Bell Israeli bronze tray depicts a Biblical scene related to the Jewish holiday of Shavuot.

The Hebrew text around the center image translates to, Shavuot and Lomer. Counting the Omer period  leading up to

The holiday.

The holiday also commemorates the receiving of the Torah. ( Ten Commandments  ) by the Israelites at Mount Sinai.

This beautiful item was probably a gift for my grandmother in the 1950's or 1960s from someone who traveled to

Israel because the original price tags are still on the back.

It has never been used.
