This is one of the most unique ways to check to see if your Potted Plants need water that I  have ever seen.

And it really works.

Just add a ceramic worm to the edge of the pot and push it partially down into the soil and water as usually.

Then every couple days gently pull out the worm and check the color.

If the color is darker brown your plant doesn't need water.

If the color is light tan, the soil is dry and needs water.

Just leave the head of the worm exposed and it will tell you if your plant is dry about 4 inches deep.
