Beautiful vintage Jingdezhen Chinese porcelain tea set featuring the traditional Dragon & Phoenix design with the red Double Happiness (囍) symbol and extensive brilliant gold-gilt decoration.

The set includes:
• 1 lidded teapot
• 2 matching handled cups
• 1 large matching serving tray/platter

The porcelain features colorful dragon and phoenix imagery with floral accents against a white background and extensive reflective gold decoration. The underside of the cups bears the Jingdezhen / “MADE IN CHINA” mark.

The Dragon and Phoenix together with the Double Happiness symbol are traditional Chinese motifs associated with marriage, harmony, happiness and prosperity, making this a beautiful wedding, anniversary, display or collector’s piece.

Similar Jingdezhen Dragon & Phoenix sets are commonly described in the vintage marketplace as having 22K gold decoration; however, the gold content of this particular set has NOT been independently tested or verified, so it is being sold as gold-gilt porcelain rather than guaranteed 22K gold.
