The finial is a detailed openwork rose blossom with leaves, above a branch-form stem with small thorns, ending in a smooth polished oval bowl.

Stamped "800" on the back of the stem, with a small adjacent maker mark (possibly crossed tools or keys). Measures approximately 3.9 inches long.

Condition: good vintage condition. Light to moderate tarnish in the recesses of the rose and around the hallmarks; fine surface scratches from age and handling. No dents, bends, or repairs; the openwork is intact. Not gilded.
