Antique Masonic fob/pendant in clear glass, reverse-carved intaglio style: the Square and Compasses with the letter G, finely detailed (the square even carries engraved ruler markings).
Carved into the flat back of the glass so that, seen through the high-domed cabochon front, the frosted white design appears to float in three dimensions — the classic "pool of light" effect.
Measures approximately 1 inch in diameter. Set in a gold-tone metal bezel with a fixed eyelet and jump-ring bail, ready to wear on a chain or attach to a watch chain. The style dates to the late 19th / early 20th century (c. 1890–1920).
Condition: very good antique condition. The intaglio carving is crisp and detailed; no chips or cracks to the glass. Light surface flea bites and faint scratches consistent with age, and a little dust trapped behind the bezel on the reverse — typical of antique pieces. No hallmarks on the mounting.
