RELIEF No 12

MANUFACTURER: 

Manufactured by Conway Stewart for the US pen company Esterbrook. 


MODEL DETAILS: 

The Relief 12 model is based on the Conway Stewart 28 pen of the 1950's, and was available in limited numbers in the same range of colours.
The difference between the 12 and 28 is that the former carried an 14ct Esterbrook Relief nib (that is Oblique) and the clip and lever carried an "R" logo (often found missing and replaced with a "CS" from the 28) 
This is a decent example that is  totally original, clean and  shows little evidence of previous use. 


The nib is reasonably smooth,  is quite firm, and writes on the angle. See writing sample.


The photos are a good reflection of the pen, but if anything needs clarity then please ask.

  • I only ever send items Recorded Deliver (or international signed for). Please do not ask for a cheaper postal service after the auction has closed.
  • Multiple items when shipped together will be cheaper - I charge only enough to cover my P&P costs.
  • Payment via Cheque or PO is possible for UK buyers. For overseas buyers it is paypal only.
  • Goods will usually be dispatched the day after payment.
