Vintage Hattori Model 6020 fixed blade hunting knife, made in Japan.

This is an older discontinued Hattori hunting knife that was purchased more than 20 years ago. It features a distinctive upswept skinner-style blade with a beautiful hollow grind, brass guard, and wood handle with brass pins.

The knife retains its original factory edge and appears unused.

Specifications:

  • Model: Hattori 6020
  • Blade Length: Approx. 5 inches
  • Overall Length: Approx. 10.5 inches
  • Steel: AUS-8A stainless steel
  • Handle: Wood with brass pins
  • Brass guard
  • Original leather sheath included
  • Made in Japan

Condition:
The knife itself is in very nice condition and retains its original factory edge with no signs of sharpening or actual use.

There are a few very light storage marks on the blade. The black Hattori marking on the blade is slightly faded in places.

The wood handle remains clean and attractive. The brass fittings show some natural age-related toning.

The leather sheath shows surface scuffs and wear along the edges. The inside surface of the retaining strap has some fuzzing and wear from age, as shown in the photos.

Please carefully examine all photos for the exact condition.

A nice example of an older discontinued Hattori hunting knife with the classic Japanese Seki craftsmanship of the period.
