This large quilled birch bark box was lavishly decorated with fantastical floral designs & even tiny ladybugs. The colors include natural white & brown with dyed shades of purple, orange, green & red. It is a traditional piece, built of natural birchbark accented with a bundle of sweetgrass at the lower edge of the rim. This is not signed but has a note identifying the maker as Mel Losh, an Ojibwe artist. This measures approx 2- 5/8" H x 6" L x 4.5" D. This stunningly beautiful box would be a stand out in any collection. 

Very Good Condition. There is a small area of damage on one side that you could cover with the tip of your thumb; otherwise this is beautiful & complete.
