Southwestern Mixed Media Bear Fetish with Micaceous Clay

This interesting fetish features a bear with a spirit line made out of sparkly micaceous clay, like that found in northern New Mexico and used by potters from the Taos & Nambe Pueblos since ancient times. There is an offering bundle tied to it's back with a white goose feather, felt, tumbled garnets, a Jobe's pearl (seed) & some metal findings. This is unsigned. It measures approx 2" H x 4.25" L x 1.75" D. The feather was replaced. Since we don't know who made this, I can't call it native American made, although it could be!

Excellent Condition!
