Unisex Navajo Style Belt Buckle w End of the Trail Horse & Rider

The "End of the Trail" image goes back to the early 20th century, as a romanticized view of a native American warrior sitting exhausted on his horse after a long ordeal. Often shown in graphic silohouette, here it is has cast details. This belt buckle was made in the shadowbox style using nickel silver & mixed metals. It is accented with a sprinkling of faux turquoise & faux coral "stones" set into sawtooth bezels along with applied curliques on a dark background. The framelike border is made of shiny metal with stamped scallops. This is unmarked and unsigned. Measures approx 3.5” L x 2.5” H. Weighs 90g. This easily can be fitted with a belt at your local leather shop. This is a true piece of wearable southwestern American kitsch!

Very good condition! There is some wear to the highpoints on the center image that actually makes  this ready to be worn onstage.

Note: see the matching bolo tie in the shop!
