Großer, aufwendig handgearbeiteter Humpen aus 830er Silber, innen vergoldet. Hergestellt in Norwegen im 20. Jahrhundert, im Stil des 19. Jahrhunderts. Mit schwedischer Einfuhrpunze. Der Humpen steht auf drei vollplastisch ausgearbeiteten Löwenfüßen. Der zylindrische Korpus ist mit einem reliefierten, umlaufenden Blattdekor verziert. Seitlich befindet sich ein Ohrengriff. Der Scharnierdeckel mit Daumendrücker in Form eines Löwen auf einer Kugel ist ebenfalls mit reliefiertem Blattdekor gestaltet. In der Mitte des Deckels ist eine Münze eingefasst. Zustand: Im Inneren befindet sich an einem der Füße ein Riss. Dieser ist von außen nicht sichtbar. Ansonsten befindet sich der Humpen in einem sehr guten Zustand.

Description

Large, finely handcrafted tankard made of 830 silver with a gilt interior. Manufactured in Norway in the 20th century, in the style of the 19th century. With Swedish import hallmarks. The tankard stands on three fully sculpted lion feet. The cylindrical body is decorated with a continuous embossed foliate design in relief. It features a scroll handle and a hinged lid with a thumbpiece in the form of a lion standing on a ball. The lid is also adorned with matching embossed foliate decoration. A coin is set into the center of the lid. Condition: There is a crack on the inside at one of the feet. It is not visible from the exterior. Otherwise, the tankard is in very good condition.
