Roland XV-5080 Synthesiser Sound Module 2U Rack Mount W/ MIDI

The Roland XV-5080 is a highly advanced synthesiser and sample playback module that was first released in 2000. It offers 128-voice polyphony, a robust 64MB internal wave memory, and compatibility with Roland S-700 and Akai sample libraries. The module features expansion slots for both SR-JV80 and SRX-series boards, allowing for significant expansion of its sound capabilities (No expansions included). Its effects section includes high-quality reverb, chorus, and multi-effects derived from Roland's SRV-3030 and V-Studio technologies. Additionally, the XV-5080 supports S/PDIF digital audio output, has a large backlit LCD, and allows for deep programming via Matrix Modulation, providing a high degree of sound manipulation. This makes it one of Roland’s most professional and versatile sound modules.

Condition:

This is a used unit.
Physically this unit is in good condition. It shows some general wear from use and age mostly a bit of rack rash as well as light scratches on the top and bottom. Nothing major at all. Overall it is a nice rack! Please see photos.
This unit has been serviced and is functioning as it should. This included installing a brand new memory battery and replacing all faulty capacitors. Replacing the capacitors ensures that you will not experience the low / distorted output issues which is very common in these units.
This unit has been upgraded with 64mB of RAM.
This unit is 100V - 240V so can be used in any country using a standard IEC cable. (Cable is not included in sale)
