a magnificent vintage brooch, attributed to Mazer, featuring the bold elegance and exceptional craftsmanship associated with high end American costume jewelry of the late 1940s and 1950s.  This impressive 3" statement brooch showcases four large faceted pear shaped glass stones in pastel blue, aqua, citrine yellow and rose pink.  Brilliant baguette and pave rhinestones radiate from the center, while sweeping polished gold tone ribbon scrolls create a dramatic dimensional design.  Although unsigned, the quality of construction, sculptural styling and luxurious presentation are consistent with documented Mazer designs from the period.  This is a heavy brooch and in absolutely fabulous vintage condition.  PLEASE NOTE:  Although all my jewelry listings will be marked that returns are not accepted (due to eBay's change of policy from 14 day returns to 30 days).
