The product is a brass shield Maryland Forest Warden Volunteer Badge from the 1920s to 1940s era, featuring a design relevant to that time period. The badge carries a historical significance and is a collectible item, representing the pioneering conservation movement work of Fred W. Besley and the Maryland Forest Service during the specified time period. This badge would be a valuable piece for collectors interested in historical firefighting, preservation, conservation and rescue memorabilia.

This is in a used condition with signs of age and prior handling. It has an aged patina with oxidation and discoloration in places. The pinback slide closeure has sealed itself in place and I refuse to force it to try and move it. It may just need some kind of oil or rust remover, but I will let the buyer make the decision to do that or not.

Please feel free to message me with any questions or requests for more photos of the item. Selling as is as shown in photos and description. Willing to do combined shipping upon request with the purchase of multiple items/lots.  Thanks
