Kabuto (Kabuto) - Pocket Monster No. 140
Bandai Carddass "Monsters Collection", Green version

Bandai, 1996, Made in Japan. Japanese language.
Artwork by Ken Sugimori.

These Carddass cards were sold through Japanese vending machines in September 1996 and are the first Pokémon cards ever produced - roughly three weeks ahead of the trading card game. Green and red colour variants exist for many cards, matching the Game Boy versions; the colour is an intentional variant, not a misprint or reprint. This is the green version.

Please note this is a collectible Carddass card, not a playable Pokémon TCG card.
