Eine Herren-Taschenuhr, hergestellt von der Manufaktur Elgin in den USA um 1923. Mit rundem Lépine-Gehäuse aus rosévergoldetem Metall und Handaufzug. Der äußere Staubdeckel ist drehbar und dekorlos, mit einer tiefen, rautenförmigen Kartusche mit Inschrift. Innen nummeriert: 1559039. Das Uhrwerk ist graviert und mit „Elgin Watch Co. USA“ gemarkt. Nummeriert: 25473167, 15 Jewels. Das weiße Emailzifferblatt verfügt über arabische Ziffern sowie eine kleine Sekunde bei 6 Uhr. Zustand: Die Uhr läuft an, bleibt jedoch sehr schnell stehen. Eine dauerhafte Funktion kann daher nicht garantiert werden. Alters- und gebrauchsbedingte Spuren sind vorhanden. Insgesamt befindet sich die Uhr in einem altersgemäßen, guten Erhaltungszustand.

A men’s pocket watch manufactured by Elgin in the United States around 1923. It features a round Lépine case made of rose-gold-plated metal and is hand-wound. The outer dust cover is rotatable and unadorned, with a deep, diamond-shaped cartouche bearing an inscription. Numbered on the inside: 1559039. The movement is engraved and marked “Elgin Watch Co. USA.” Numbered: 25473167, 15 jewels. The white enamel dial features Arabic numerals and a small seconds sub-dial at 6 o’clock. Condition: The watch starts running but stops very quickly. Therefore, continuous operation cannot be guaranteed. Signs of age and wear are present. Overall, the watch is in good condition for its age.
