Overview

This is an Omron G7Z-4A power relay with a 24VDC coil, removed from a working environment. This is a heavy-duty 4-pole normally-open power relay commonly used for switching motors, heaters, and other high-current loads in industrial control panels. The clear polycarbonate terminal covers over each contact block protect against accidental contact while still allowing a visual check of the terminal connections.

Per the label, contact ratings include 40A at 480VAC (resistive) and 22A at 480VAC (general use) for the main AC-1 contact, with a secondary AC-3/DC-1 rating of 5A/6A at 120-440V for auxiliary contacts. The relay is UL recognized and CE marked. Housing is stamped with lot code "18516E."
